We make websites to make your life better

Welcome to SugarCat Publishing. Thank you for coming to find out more about us.

We're an internet publishing business that's been around for 12 years, making websites to improve people's lives.

As well as building websites for clients who align with our values, we build and maintain our own sites, including:

The Career Break Site – the UK's biggest independent career break website, which features regularly in the national and international press, on radio and on TV.

Grantastic – a unique website helping grandparents who take care of their grandchildren, whether full-time, part-time or just occasionally.

We're always looking for people to work with and are open to your ideas. Some of the people we currently work with include:

  • Companies and organisations who advertise (or want to advertise) with us
  • Bloggers and writers who want to publish on our site, or publish a guest post from us
  • Partners with whom we work in a variety of ways, including promotional activity and referrals
  • Award-winning freelance writers, photographers and marketing professionals
  • Journalists, editors, radio producers and TV producers who want to feature us or help them find a case study

Our key people are:

Rachel Morgan-Trimmer, Managing Director

Rachel oversees the every day running of the business, including sales and marketing. She particularly enjoys writing and editing, and connecting with people on social media. Rachel has been at the forefront of new trends since she started the business, spotting gaps in the market and tailoring her sites to each specific niche. Outside work she cooks, runs, and walks (although not at the same time!).

Jane Trimmer, Head of Web Development

Jane is in charge of developing all our new websites, and redeveloping the existing ones. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for the next big thing, she ensures the sites are beautifully coded and user-friendly. When she's not at work, she does Pilates and Yoga, and looks after her grandchildren (which is where she got the idea for Grantastic!).

Daniel Trimmer, Finance Director

Dan oversees the entire financial side of SugarCat Publishing, using his background as an entrepreneur to ensure the smooth running of the business. An American by birth, he now lives in the UK. Daniel spends a lot of time with his grandchildren when he's not at work, and also enjoys reading and classical music concerts.
